Jordan Kinard is the logistics manager/E-commerce website manager at Uniform Destination in Jacksonville Florida. While searching for product photographers, Jordan came across our studio website. He needed high-end product photography for the Sanibel Scrubs line that would be used for web/print purposes. Jordan felt we met the requirements, that would help him achieve his goals. He made contact with me to get the ball rolling, and I assured him that we would showcase his medical scrubs in the best possible light…pun intended 🙂
From there, I had Jordan ship all of the scrubs to the studio, we hired the models, steamed each garment and began the photo shoot. Here are a few of the shots that came from this shoot.

My friend Peter and I had an opportunity to photograph the runners in the April 13, 2014 Rock’n Roll Raleigh Marathon this past Sunday. It was a gorgeous day and there was over 12,500 runners competing for this two-part event. The first part was a 13 mile half marathon and then there was the 26 mile full marathon. Being the lifestyle photographers that we are, Peter and I were bound and determined to capture and create some of our best black-and-white work possible… and I think we did! The sun was on our side and we were able to get flattering portrait lighting on some of the most interesting runners. The crowds and the band were pretty awesome too and they filled the streets with cheers and encouragement. I can’t tell you how many spouses picked up the pace with their partners towards the end. We watched as they helped carry them over the finish line…it was a very moving experience! This event was so popular that they have rescheduled another race in Raleigh on the second weekend of April 2015.

Allow me to introduce you to our Raleigh Photographers and Cinematography Collective. We are super-excited about photographer and cinematographer, Zach Stamey, being part of our crew!

Let’s create something together! Amy Edwards is my name, and I am a commercial photographer as well as a photography class instructor. I have a fascination with creative collaborations, adventures, coming up with ideas, and making ideas happen. I love the light and the dark, the way lines move, dancing to my own beat, helping and watching local companies blossom and thrive, and the way my eyes feel during magic hour.

Tom Edwards has a deep love and respect for photography and the arts. In addition to serving a mean ping pong ball with a side of his homemade cherry-seltzer water, Tom founded New Image Studio in Raleigh, NC in 1989. He enjoys all flavors of photography, and his areas of expertise for commercial photography include architecture photography and product photography.

“If you want to view paradise, simply look around and view it”, is probably the greatest way to describe my outlook on life. My name is Zach Stamey and I am a Raleigh videographer and photographer. I see beauty in the world around me in and I thrive on it. Art exists in everything from sunlight spilling into a room and changing it’s shape to trees dancing in the wind just before a summer storm. The emphasis in fashion photography does not lie on the garments and accessories, but on the mood and styling of the image that conveys a certain lifestyle. The combination of these elements create complexity for each image as a whole, which leads to striking imagery! This is exactly what you will see from the images captured from this photo shoot.

Redken stylist, Tara Gardiner, approached me to photograph her cutting-edge styling techniques and color formulas that would be worn on various models. Her goal was to submit her images to the London Redken Color Contest. As you can see, the shoot was a colorful blast! The contest required that entries must showcase looks using Redken haircolor and incorporate technical skills for results that have wide consumer appeal and include before and after photos of the model; a brief description of the technique and the formulas to create the look; and an explanation of why it’s the next big trend. Four winners total from two categories—Street Style and Classic Contemporary—would be awarded a grand prize that includes a trip for two to the 2014 Redken Symposium Europe in London in February, as well as airfare, hotel accommodations and registration.

Tara chose her favorite images from the shoot, submitted them to the contest, and and won! Congratulations on your extraordinary skills, Tara!

Redken Color Rebel Contest-Fashion Photography Raleigh

Raleigh Architecture Photographers | Photography with Intellect

We had the privilege of creating thought-provoking commercial photography with local artist collective, Flight Committee Entertainment. We had a lot of fun with this photo shoot, pushing the envelope with the photo ideas, and showing off the fun eccentricity of the group. These photos were shot over the course of several sessions, using multiple scenes to really show off the different aspects of the group’s image.

Flight Committee Entertainment strives to give full creative control to the talent by putting the power in their hands. One thing that makes Flight Committee Entertainment unique is their goal to break down the barriers between different genres by working will all types of music.

Our product photographer was so excited to work with My Honey Child to shoot the photos for their website. My Honey Child is a local Raleigh business that specializes in natural hair care products.

My Honey Child has developed unique formulas specifically to make a difference in how you manage your hair. Their products use a combination of sunflower butter, shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut milk and oil, and raw honey, among other all natural ingredients. My Honey Child has an extensive product line available for purchase on their site as well as a salon located in Raleigh. We recently had the pleasure of working with local Raleigh magician Joshua Lozoff to shoot the photography for his new website, joshualozoff.com. We got to employ the use of green screen photography to take some really fun photos for Josh’s site. You can see the process from beginning to end in the pictures below.
