The FDH Inc. leadership team recently came to Raleigh to celebrate their 20th Anniversary. It’s is a special event when a group of busy, out-of-town executives are able to come together, so we were there to document the celebration. We photographed the leadership team for a group photo at their Raleigh office, and captured behind the scenes photography of the videos that were being filmed in each of the labs. This was a really neat way to see how the FDH operations work! While we were there, we were also able to take a number of  headshots.

As architecture photographers, we agree with this quoted description and also like to call it “A Dream Come True.” Among other awards and prizes, the Hunt Library has also been recently honored with the 2014 Stanford Prize for Innovation in Research Libraries (SPIRL). We are so grateful that we have this aesthetically amazing playground for learning, right in the heart of Raleigh, NC!

Architecture Photographers Raleigh-James B. Hunt Jr. Library-Commercial Photographers offering Architecture Photography for Interior and Exterior Design

We love working with FDH, and had another opportunity to do this when we went on-site to photograph their business portraits and office interior. Business Portrait Photographers-FDH Inc.-Portrait Photographers for your Business photography goals.

FDH Inc. “Engineering Innovation” marketing specialist, Katie McDermott hired us to capture documentation photography for the structural analysis of the roof of the historic First Baptist Church in downtown Raleigh. Tom and I had a great time working on-site with J. Bret Taylor and Tyler Hall. Bret is the director of commercial structural engineering services for FDH, and is also the project manager for the complete structural analysis of this church’s roof structure to determine if there are any degradation or structural capacity concerns that would require future repairs or renovations. The completion goal is 2014.

Project details:
FDH has begun the investigation and structural analysis of the rough-hewn wood arch roof structure at the historic First Baptist Church in downtown Raleigh.
Built in 1859 and located at the intersection of W. Edenton and N. Salisbury streets, the First Baptist Church is a well-known historic landmark in North Carolina’s capitol city.
The church approached FDH in 2013 with concerns about the condition of the exposed arch roof over the sanctuary. Repairs were made in the past, but no recent investigation has been performed and a contemporary structural modeling analysis has never been performed.

ASCOM Wireless hired us as their product photographers. The project involved us photographing the new Samsung Galaxy S5 and iPhone-5S in a way that each device would display the mobile application, Unite Axess. Unite Axess is an enabling application that helps healthcare providers and mobile clinicians deliver improved patient care. With this application clinicians receive 2-way, interactive alert messages for critical and non-critical patient events generated by clinical systems like nurse call and patient monitoring. It achieves this by securely and accurately delivering alert messages to smart devices anywhere, anytime.

I joined 90+ people in downtown Raleigh for Jane’s Walk-Opportunity Dorothea Dix. The beautiful 1hr 30 min walk was put together by city organizer, Dr. Katherine Loflin, and the walk was lead by the informative Matt Tomasulo, founder of Walk Your City and City Fabric.

Commercial and Lifestyle Photography for marketing and web-sites is a big part of what we have become proficient at over the years. Geo Technologies Inc. hired us to capture lifestyle photographs of various team members performing daily work tasks and also to photograph their company headshots. These images will be utilized for their new web-site, which will be launching soon. We had a blast getting to know Debora Hester and the Geo Tech staff, all-the-while creating something unique for them to share with the world.

Jordan Kinard is the logistics manager/E-commerce website manager at Uniform Destination in Jacksonville Florida. While searching for product photographers, Jordan came across our studio website. He needed high-end product photography for the Sanibel Scrubs line that would be used for web/print purposes. Jordan felt we met the requirements, that would help him achieve his goals. He made contact with me to get the ball rolling, and I assured him that we would showcase his medical scrubs in the best possible light…pun intended 🙂
From there, I had Jordan ship all of the scrubs to the studio, we hired the models, steamed each garment and began the photo shoot. Here are a few of the shots that came from this shoot.
