The emphasis in fashion photography does not lie on the garments and accessories, but on the mood and styling of the image that conveys a certain lifestyle. The combination of these elements create complexity for each image as a whole, which leads to striking imagery! This is exactly what you will see from the images captured from this photo shoot.

Redken stylist, Tara Gardiner, approached me to photograph her cutting-edge styling techniques and color formulas that would be worn on various models. We had the privilege of creating thought-provoking commercial photography with local artist collective, Flight Committee Entertainment. We had a lot of fun with this photo shoot, pushing the envelope with the photo ideas, and showing off the fun eccentricity of the group. These photos were shot over the course of several sessions, using multiple scenes to really show off the different aspects of the group’s image.

Flight Committee Entertainment strives to give full creative control to the talent by putting the power in their hands. One thing that makes Flight Committee Entertainment unique is their goal to break down the barriers between different genres by working will all types of music.

We recently had the pleasure of working with local Raleigh magician Joshua Lozoff to shoot the photography for his new website, joshualozoff.com. We got to employ the use of green screen photography to take some really fun photos for Josh’s site. You can see the process from beginning to end in the pictures below.

Green screen technology is exciting because it opens up a tremendous amount of variety for any kind of photo shoot. Essentially, green screen technology helps create anything the imagination can think of, for a lot less than going to an exotic location.
