Architectural Photographer Raleigh – Holy Name of Jesus

I love documenting new development through architectural photography! On Saturday, January 3, 2015, the Memorial of the Holy Name of Jesus, Bishop Michael F. Burbidge celebrated the Rite of Blessing and Groundbreaking for Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral. The new cathedral, located on ground purchased by Servant of God Father Thomas Price in 1896, is projected to be completed in 2017. I was here recently to capture some of the progress.

Commercial Photography Raleigh – TyraTech

One of the reasons I love shooting commercial photography is because of the opportunities I have to work on unique projects. The TyraTech shoot is a perfect example of this! Over the course of two days, I captured action shots, headshots, team photos, product shots. I even photographed living insects!

Industrial Photographer Raleigh – Camp Legeune

RQC hired me to capture one of their newest facilities at Camp Legeune, NC. This sustainable, state of the art campus is so intentional, I felt like I was in Washington, DC! Clean lines were everywhere I turned, and I was continuously in awe with the bells and whistles that seemed to be around every corner. I love how the solar panel systems look like butterflies about to take off for flight. These solar panels also power the entire facility and double as the largest car ports I have ever seen…so cool. Imagine yourself standing on large slated rock, looking into another beautiful sunset. The sound of the river flows through each ear and relaxes into your mind as you think, “I still cannot believe this is where I live.”

We had a chance to do architectural photography for a couple who were requesting photos of their condo at the River Mill in Raleigh, NC. This was a gorgeous scene to capture!  The River Mill ranges from historic to contemporary in an unparalleled setting. Nestled on 23 wooded acres, bounded by the Neuse River and Falls Lake, River Mill is the essence of North Carolina’s rich past and natural beauty.

Day of the Dead 5K – Raleigh NC – Photography

Centro in Raleigh, NC presented the 5th annual Day of the Dead 5K on October 24th. This event benefits the Brentwood Boys and Girls Club of Raleigh.

I did not run in the race. I did, however, thoroughly enjoy being a spectator and decided to snap some sweet pics of one of the race’s devoted runners, Michelle Stamey and her husband, Zach Stamey.
