Digital Marketing Specialist with Technical SEO Skills (Internship)
The successful candidate will be an integral member of our team responsible for a wide variety of digital marketing duties with a focus on technical proficiency. This position requires flexibility, organization, strong time management skills, attention to detail, commitment to meet crucial deadlines, as well as the ability to produce solid results.
Required Skills and Background:
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is highly motivated and loves social media
Strong understanding of Technical SEO such as:
Website Architecture
301 Redirects
High quality, relevant link-building
robots.txt best practices
Spam Referral filtering
Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Ability to generate powerful, SEO-friendly, conversion-optimized copy, blog posts, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong proficiency with WordPress and familiarity with other CMS such as Drupal
Website Conversion Rate Optimization
Intricate knowledge of organic best practices
Familiarity writing effective ad copy
Ability to generate specific KPI’s and report on them
Familiarity with Digital Marketing tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, AWR Cloud, etc.
Familiarity with basic HTML and CSS
The following are not required, but certainly considered a plus:
Email Marketing experience
Photoshop and Illustrator experience
Marketing Automation experience (Pardot, Marketo, Hubspot, Etc.)
About The Opportunity:
Set up, manage, and execute ongoing Digital Marketing plans
Create and implement Digital Marketing strategies using organic search engine optimization for websites
Analyze website traffic reports, linking structures, codes, and content to be able to make smart recommendations to increase website traffic, the number of quality leads, and conversion rates
Write quality, SEO-friendly content including web pages, blogs, press releases, and ad copy
Build quality back-links for our clients’ websites to improve their search engine ranking
Building email lists and manage Email Marketing campaigns
Create and implement Social Media Marketing strategies that deliver a quantifiable ROI

Video Production
We are looking for a video production specialist! The successful candidate will report to the owner to create various types of video projects and some photography. By joining the team, you will have the ability to enhance your video production skills as well as gain exposure to other areas, such as content marketing and SEO best practices. This position requires flexibility, organization, strong time management skills, attention to detail, commitment to meet crucial deadlines, as well as the ability to produce solid results.
Responsibilities:
Creative storyteller with the ability to create compelling, shareable video content that is professional and clearly conveys messaging that is in line with our brand
Produce both long and short videos, including product vignettes, customer testimonials, advertising, training videos, and assistance with production of recorded webcasts
Point person for video production, from working with other members of the marketing team on concept/storyboard, creating a script/managing lighting & shooting when needed, to editing, such as insertion of graphics, audio, transitions, and visual effects
Some photography responsibilities, for web site and at company events
Ability to handle creative direction and revisions to accomplish delivering the best final product
Juggle multiple projects and priorities independently
Professional Qualifications:
2+ years of digital video creation and editing, including experience with audio recording
Ability to start with raw file and manipulate/edit, and then publish them in multiple formats
Experience with motion graphics and video effects software, such as Adobe After Effects, Captivate, Presenter, Premiere Pro, or other
Familiarity with editing software including Final Cut Pro, iMovie, etc.
Understanding of compressing options for video
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud for photo and graphics editing
Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, Responsive Design, etc.
Experience with Camtasia or any other screen-capturing software
ENG, DSLR or other camera user
