I always knew I had I had a strong passion for creating but I never knew what it was or how to go about it. It was not until I found photography that fulfilled my desire for this creative inspiration that I yearned for. I received by B.A. in Art concentrating in Photography and a minor in Art History from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I have found that composing my artwork has been a way of therapy for me, in which I have been able to contemplate on personal and social issues. Being able to freely express my thoughts, concerns, and curiosities has helped me grow mentally by allowing me to discover my individuality and moral fiber. Through the camera, I have discovered a new way to look at the world. Being able to capture moments and matter that one might overlook on a day-to-day basis is important for me to emphasis. My goal as an artist is to have viewers reflect the issues and subject matter I emphasize through my photographs as thoroughly as I do during the innovation of my thoughts, fears, and fascinations.
