Raleigh Wedding Photographer, Amy Edwards and Tom Edwards had the opportunity to photograph the beautiful wedding of Eileen and Andrew. Their wedding ceremony was held at one of Raleigh’s most unique little treasure locations, St. Mark’s Chapel at the Raleigh Mordecai Historic Park. St. Mark’s Chapel is an angelic and intimate setting. As I photographed this momentous occasion, I felt as if this little chapel was wrapping it’s humble arms around the bride, groom and all of the their loved ones as they watched them speak to one another in the language of love. We captured beautiful images of the newlyweds, as they arrived (in their vintage horse and buggy) at their exclusive wedding reception at the Second Empire in Downtown Raleigh. Eileen and Andrew chose wisely when they decided upon Reverend Kayelily Middleton to lead them through their coveted wedding vows. Kayelily has married over 1500 couples since 1999 and comes highly recommended throughout the Triangle area. Her expertise and delivery shined, creating a touching ceremony for all of those who attended this lovely St. Marks Wedding.

New Image Studio Commercial Photographers Raleigh recently photographed the fabulous foursome of AnsibleWorks. The team decided to hold their meeting at the Embassy Suites in Raleigh. Being the commercial photographers that we are, we were excited to suggest the Embassy Suites as an excellent location for an on location photo shoot. The lobby opens up to a beautiful atrium-type setting, with beautiful shapes, ambient light, and of course, the flora and fauna! Our on-location photo shoot provided the busy AnsibleWorks team with convenience to jump right back into their meeting, while also allowing for some really unique settings.
A bit about AnsibleWorks…

In the case of Dosi, we developed the ThunderShirt, and since 2009 the gentle calming hug of the ThunderShirt has helped over a million dogs and cats around the world overcome their fears and anxieties.
As the name ThunderShirt implies, thunder and noises was the first fear we tackled, but along the way, we found that simple pressure helped with a multitude of pet anxieties including separation, travel, vet visits and much more. Our proprietary research also uncovered that over 30% of pets suffer from one or more of these anxieties making anxiety one of the leading issues for today’s pet parents.
For this reason, in addition to the ThunderShirt, we have created other products to help pet parents alleviate some of the anxiety issues their pets may experience, and we have done so under the company name of ThunderWorks. At ThunderWorks, we are committed to finding simple and safe solutions to pet parents’ every day issues because when our pets feel stressed, we feel stressed. Photography Lessons Raleigh-Amy Edwards
Greetings!
I go by the name, Amy Edwards and I am thrilled to be teaching private photography lessons and photography classes for my fellow photography enthusiasts of the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill areas! I have been teaching private photography lessons (with my favorite grasshoppa, “MisterG”) for a number of weeks now. MisterG is a passionate person and dedicated pupil who came to me with specific photography goals. Seeking out unique locations to photograph and creating custom exercises are essential aspects of the creative learning process for each student. Some of the exercises I have created thus far are tailored to learning and understanding the fundamentals of: the DSLR camera and it’s settings, the power of ambient light (and how to use it), depth of field, and creating beautiful compositions. There is so much growth and progress during each lesson I have with MisterG. I can’t think of a better feeling that an instructor can have, when they are able to experience/observe this with one of their pupils! Here are some of the images that came from one of the “Adventures of MisterG’s Private Photography Lessons”…

Have you ever wanted to know how to take pictures using your Smartphone and then take your camera phone images and do things like boost the contrast, desaturate, convert to black&white, add textures, etc.? If so, this is the photography class for you!
The first part of this class will:
-Give instruction on how to use the camera on your Smartphone
-Give instruction on how to utilize your Smartphone’s “Gallery” application
The second part of this class will:
-Teach you how to edit your camera phone images to create works of art by using FREE Smartphone photo editing applications.

…is one of New Image Studio photographers niches. We were honored when The White House hired us to photograph Michelle Obama at an event, held at the Raleigh Marriott City Center. We are very familiar with Event Photography and have also photographed an array of high profile political figures. To name a few: the last seven governors, secretary of state, insurance commissioner, lottery commissioner, and most recently Renee Ellmers. Our Event Photographers are accustomed to event photography and political figure photography, which is why The White House felt confident about hiring us for an event of this calibre. We had the recent opportunity to do On-Location Commercial Photography with the MCNeil Law Firm in Raleigh, NC. John McNeil contacted us for the purpose of having dynamite images of his company for their website. The power of having high-quality images on a company website, is a value that New Image Studio photographers and John McNeil embrace. We photographed the McNeil Law Firm on-location, at their office. On-location photography gives your company website a very personalized feel. When a client visits your company website and they are able to see you and your team in your element, it allows them a certain sense of comfort. It also gives your client/potential client, even that much more of a sense of what they can expect when they work with you. Pictures can indeed speak thousands of words!
